We had the pleasure of discovering TAMA while searching for a smart spot for a Saturday lunch in Brisbane. To our delight, the experience exceeded expectations in every aspect. We arrived early, as my companion had a wedding to attend, and the restaurant was still subdued, allowing us to appreciate the exceptional service and attention to detail. The ambience was breathtaking, set within a beautifully renovated old post office building with a wonderful sense of old-world grandeur. The extensive wine list offered a remarkable selection of options by the glass and pages and pages of options by the bottle. We were particularly impressed by the caviar mash–a must-try. It perfectly complemented our overall dining experience. The delightful service and impeccable presentation made a terrific impression, and we look forward to returning for another memorable meal at TAMA.

We recently went for a girlsmas and had an absolutely fantastic time. The music was great, the sax player was a vibe and the staff were all absolutely lovely and super engaging. Our waiter Philippe was attentive and our glasses were never empty and Giuseppe (I assume the manager?) also looked after us very well and was sooo friendly. The food was delicious and well presented. The cocktails were also delicious. Staff encouraged everyone to get up and dance. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I love Tama. The vibe of the restaurant is amazing, we love the live saxophone. We just went back for our anniversary and had Cassie as our waitress. She did a great job and service was awesome. We will be back again

I recently held a corporate group event at Tama Dining and had an amazing experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and made everything feel completely seamless from start to finish. The food and drinks were fantastic - our guests were all super impressed. This was our second event at Tama, and it absolutely reinforced why we keep coming back. The team looked after us so well, and we really appreciated how smooth the whole night ran. Big thanks to everyone who worked on the event - we’ll definitely be back for our next one!

I celebrated my birthday alone here last night, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, every staff member greeted me with a warm “happy birthday,” which made me feel truly special. They even gave me a handwritten card and a complimentary cocktail — such a lovely surprise! The food was delicious, and the staff checked in after each dish to make sure everything was to my liking. The service was attentive without feeling overbearing, and the whole atmosphere felt so cozy and welcoming. I honestly felt right at home. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable — I’ll definitely be back!

We went here for a girls night and had the best time. The vibes are immaculate and the service was great. No wait time, drinks were super quick and food was even quicker. Food was yummy and flavoursome. The sax player was great and dj was so much fun. For people complaining about the noise, it’s not crazy loud. We could still have a conversation, Tama is exactly what’s it advertised as and more. Who I assume was the manager, Giuseppe, was great. So nice and friendly, really looked after us. Already look forward to coming back. Absolutely recommend getting a both as well!

We went to TAMA for our anniversary and my partner loved it. Her favourite was the crab bisque linguine and signature strawberry cake. The table next to us ordered the wagyu beef cheeks with a smoke show so we ordered the same for the theatrics. It tasted as good as it was presented. The restaurant's decor elegant. Service exceptional. Thank you for the memorable dining experience.

I had a truly memorable time celebrating my birthday here! The staff last night were warm, attentive, and made my night feel really special. The food.. was absolutely delicious!! each dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend the Crab Bisque Linguine and their signature strawberry cake. The wagyu beef cheeks with a smoke show was delicious it just melted in my mouth! I also really appreciated the atmosphere. The music had a really nice setting, perfect vibe for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. It created such a calm, chill ambience without ever feeling too quiet or too loud. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

11/10 experience. The staff were so accomodating, especially Shaun, he went above and beyond to make sure we were good and happy. I had an accident and Max (the security) was absolutely amazing. All the staff are so incredibly lovely and made the experience even better! I’d 100% recommend this venue and will definitely be coming back 🎉

Celebrating an anniversary at Tama was a good decision. Upon entering a warm greeting from staff and we were shown our table. Waiters/ress were on their A game, very informative, very knowledgeable and very good service. From start to finish could not fault them at all! Food served tonight was divine! A little on the saltier side but tolerable. Would highly recommend the Foie Gras entree and crab linguine! Steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. Well done to the chefs! For dessert the strawberry cake looked perfect (my partner ate it so I can't comment on the taste) but from seeing her eyes glisten I'm assuming it was good 😅
